High density polyethylene cable duct has undergone changes that touch on every aspect of it's design, production and installation. The most significant innovation from ARNCO has been the development of the WAVE RIBBED DUCT. Internal ribbing, enhanced with their patented (reverse oscillating spiral) "Wave Rib", minimizes surface contact between the wall of the duct and the cable sheath, greatly reducing friction. Optional ribs can be incorporated to lock multiple ducts together when placed in a main conduit. This results in longer and faster placement of cables.

ARNCO® manufactures a wide range of high performance Bull-Line Pull Tape products to expedite cable installation. Choose from woven polyester tapes or aramid fiber tape products which are available in a variety of strengths and lengths. A single pull tape eliminates the additional labor required for string, rope or winch line combinations. All Bull-Line is manufactured with the Stiff-Tape lubrication coating, resulting in the highest performance pull tape available in the industry. Whatever the choice, Bull-Line Pull Tapes have continually provided a superior alternative to plastic pull ropes in cable installations through all types of conduit.

ARNCO® Bull-Line Pull Tapes meet or exceed all pull line requirements of Bellcore GR-356-CORE Generic Requirements for Optical Cable Innerduct and Accessories.
Chemical Products

The ARNCO Chemical Product Group includes cable lubricants, cleaners and sealants. HYDRA-LUBE cable pulling lubricants are formulated to meet the specific needs of the customer. Arnco offers a wide range of polymer and silicone based materials in gel, creamy gel or pour able forms designed to match the type and weight of cable to be placed.   Winter and summer formulations are also available for optimizing performance.

Another component of the system is solvent cleaners. ARNCO has developed a complete line of CABLE PREP general purpose and specialty products. ARNCO offers a wide variety of cleaners, available in various packages, to replace  environmentally hazardous CFC and other ozone depleting cleaners.

HYDRA-SEAL sealants provide an integral link in the system with a variety of products, matched to the application.   ARNCO developed sealants that not only have high performance properties but are very user-friendly. Products are developed using urethanes, mastics and safe oil putty bases incorporating the latest chemistry. ARNCO offers foam sealants, putty, rolled materials, or liquids that can be applied in a variety of ways.

Cable placement techniques have advanced to include an air-assisted process that combines a mechanical pull with a compressed air push.  ARNCO's AIR-TRACK II Air-Assisted Cable System is an innovative, compact, dual-acting system that speeds cable installation, even in areas where 90 and 180 degree turns are frequent. The AIR-TRACK II, like all ARNCO system components can be used freestanding or vehicle mounted.
TENSION-MASTER

The TENSION MASTER product line of cable placing equipment is designed with these objectives: They need to be modular. They have to work in all types of terrain, all types of weather conditions and most importantly, they have to be rugged and reliable, Early pullers consisted of a hydraulic winch and a foot pedal to control operation. With the advent of more sophisticated cable products, the need for a controlled pull became more obvious. The TENSION-MASTER Winch combines the power and precision of hydraulic pulling with optional electronic tension monitoring and a continuous printout of pull tension.

   

ARNCO offers a wide range of trailer products that can be mixed and matched to meet specific cable installation needs. The use of computer aided design has dramatically increased the ability to quickly and accurately modify, update and change existing equipment configurations.  ARNCO's Elyria, OH metal fabrication facility is equipped to modify customer furnished vehicle bodies/trailers or can build a fully integrated placement system from the ground up.
